Forest school

Forest School provides an excellent opportunity to bring learning to life allowing children to explore and learn in a constructive way. This inspirational process increases self-confidence, self-esteem, improves individuals’ ability to work co-operatively and counters a lack of motivation and negative attitude towards learning, while offering the opportunities to take risks, make choices and initiate learning for themselves.

Forest School sessions run throughout the year giving children opportunities to experience different weathers, seasons and changes in their environment. All children who attend on forest school days need to provide an all-in-one weather suit and pair of wellies.

Baby Ballet sessions are incredibly important for the overall development of young children. As well as the physical benefits, including strength, flexibility and fitness, there are many non-physical benefits that dance helps to develop in young children. While creativity and imagination are given the platform to flourish in young children who dance, it is self-esteem, confidence and discipline that offer huge advantages in their development going forward.

Our Art Teacher Kelly, works with the children at our Broadway site every week. They work on weekly projects in our outdoor Atelier.

Kelly has a burning desire to share her passion and inspire others of all ages (as we are never too young to start!) in the love of the arts.

Early years arts and cultural activities can help children make sense of their cognitive, physical, emotional, spiritual, linguistic, and moral development by enhancing the whole curriculum. Early years arts experiences can impact positively on confidence, self-esteem, personal, social, emotional development and behavioural health, breaking down language barriers.

AW Football Coaching offers weekly football sessions to develop gross motor skills, agility, balance and co-ordination. During the sessions children develop listening skills by following instructions and building communication skills. Football sessions even develop early maths skills including counting kicks, and builds confidence with colour matching.

Learning to ride a bike is a key life skill and at CYCLEme TOTS we give young children the opportunity to ride and gain confidence in a fun and structured way.

We use our activity program to provide a safe environment for skill development whilst also teaching the importance of cycling and road safety.

Your child will learn in a safe, warm and accepting environment. Our atmosphere enables children to respect themselves and others. Through diverse creative experiences, we enhance children’s ability to socialize with others, be creative, express themselves and develop.

From September we are excited to pair up with further activity providers to ensure our Enrichment programme gives children’s life skills and opportunities to learn in styles that may be new to them.
